Key Benefits

  • Always have access to the latest firmware for your product.

  • Get notification about product changes.

  • Check the revision history for bug fixes and functional enhancements.

  • Upgrade at any time you like.

How to upgrade your system ...

  1. Always disconnect the systems from the mains supply and dismantle the mechanical assembly to gain access to the motherboard.

  2. For upgrading to the latest firmware version always have  an erased EPROM of type 27C256 or 27C512 (depends on the motherboard type) available.

  3. Download the HEX file providing the new firmware. Always check for product type and hardware revision of the motherboard (in case of any uncertainties contact your hardware vendor).

  4. Program the new EPROM with the latest firmware.

  5. Remove the old EPROM from the motherboard socket and insert the newly programmed. Store the old EPROM at a save location.

  6. Reassemble the system, connect the power cord and boot the system. Check for correct functionality and enter the main menu.

  7. Reload the default settings and reboot the system with the factory pre-settings in order to grant best performance.

Never erase the original EPROM and update with the new firmware. Always keep the original firmware for safety reasons.
