How to upgrade your system ...
-
Always disconnect the systems from the mains supply and
dismantle the mechanical assembly to gain access to the motherboard.
-
For upgrading to the latest firmware version always have
an erased
EPROM of type 27C256 or 27C512 (depends on the motherboard
type) available.
-
Download the HEX file providing the new firmware. Always check for product
type and hardware revision of the motherboard (in case of any
uncertainties contact your hardware vendor).

Program the new EPROM with the latest firmware.
-
Remove the old EPROM from the motherboard socket and insert the newly
programmed.
Store the old EPROM at a save location.

Reassemble the system, connect the power cord and boot the system. Check
for correct functionality and enter the main menu.

Reload the default settings and reboot the system with the
factory pre-settings in order to grant best performance.
Never erase the original EPROM and update with the new firmware. Always
keep the original firmware for safety reasons.

The following section lists all the available error codes for the above
presented firmware
products. Some of the error codes are shared among the various applications some
are specific to the system. So always mind the comment besides the error code
number.
You can access the five most recently logged error codes by selecting the error
code menu handler - common to all applications.
HOW to ACCESS the ERROR code:
Press the MENU
button, scroll down to error codes and confirm your selection by
pressing the ENTER button one more time.
